Thể thao 14/6: VFF cho biết huấn luyện viên Gong Oh-Kyun sẽ hoàn tất khóa học huấn luyện viên Pro tại Hàn Quốc, sau đó tiếp tục công tác chuẩn bị cho SEA Games 32 và vòng loại U23 châu Á vào năm sau.
Tương lai của HLV Gong Oh-kyun tại Việt Nam
Tuyển U23 Việt Nam đã khép lại hành trình tại vòng chung kết U23 châu Á 2022 tại tứ kết sau thất bại 0-2 trước U23 Saudi Arabia.
Những gì mà U23 Việt Nam dưới thời huấn luyện viên Gong Oh-kyun thể hiện trên đất Uzbekistan đã mang đến nhiều hy vọng cho tương lai của bóng đá nước nhà.
Tuy nhiên, sau giải đấu, tương lai của huấn luyện viên Gong Oh-kyun đang trở thành chủ đề nhận được sự quan tâm lớn của người hâm mộ.
Hợp đồng của vị huấn luyện viên người Hàn Quốc với VFF còn 8 tháng nữa mới kết thúc, nhưng trong thời gian này không còn giải đấu nào có U23 Việt Nam tham gia do ASIAD hoãn vô thời hạn.
Trước sự quan tâm của dư luận về tương lai của ông Gong Oh-kyun, Tổng thư ký VFF Lê Hoài Anh đã lên tiếng cho biết: “Trong thời gian tới, huấn luyện viên Gong Oh-kyun sẽ hoàn tất khóa học huấn luyện viên Pro tại Hàn Quốc, sau đó sẽ trở lại Việt Nam để tiếp tục công việc.”
“ASIAD 19 đã bị hoãn do ảnh hưởng của dịch COVID, nên công việc của ông Gong chủ yếu là quan sát các giải chuyên nghiệp và các giải trẻ quốc gia để tuyển chọn lực lượng cho đội tuyển U23 Việt Nam, phục vụ cho SEA Games 32 và vòng loại U23 châu Á sẽ diễn ra vào năm sau,” ông Lê Hoài Anh nói thêm.
Tổng thư ký VFF cũng cho biết sau khi huấn luyện viên Gong Oh-kyun trở lại với công việc tại Việt Nam, VFF và ông Gong sẽ có buổi họp tổng kết, đánh giá kết quả tại Cúp bóng đá U23 châu Á 2022, đồng thời thống nhất kế hoạch chuẩn bị cho các nhiệm vụ tiếp theo của U23 Việt Nam, giúp cho đội tuyển và những lứa kế cận tiếp theo có những sự chuẩn bị tích cực cho các giải đấu trong tương lai.
Trong ngày hôm nay (14/6), các thành viên U23 Việt Nam khu vực phía Nam dự kiến sẽ có mặt tại sân bay Tân Sơn Nhất vào 17 giờ 5. Trong khi đó, chuyến bay của nhóm các thành viên khu vực phía Bắc dự kiến sẽ về đến sân bay Nội Bài vào 15 giờ ngày 15/6.
Sau khi về nước, hai cầu thủ trẻ Khuất Văn Khang và Nguyễn Văn Trường sẽ gia nhập đội tuyển U19 Việt Nam để chuẩn bị tham dự giải vô địch U19 Đông Nam Á 2022./.
HLV Gong Oh Kyun về Hàn Quốc nghỉ phép
Sau khi kết thúc hành trình tại VCK U23 châu Á 2022, theo đề nghị từ HLV Gong Oh Kyun, VFF đã mua vé máy bay để vị chiến lược gia người Hàn Quốc trở về quê nhà sau ngày 16/6. Dự kiến đầu tháng 7, ông Gong trở lại Việt Nam để tiếp tục nhiệm vụ của mình.
Hiện, vấn đề đang được nhắc đến nhiều nhất sau khi VCK U23 châu Á kết thúc là vấn đề hợp đồng giữa VFF và HLV Gong Oh Kyun.
Tổng thư ký VFF Lê Hoài Anh cho biết: “Trong thời gian tới, HLV Gong Oh Kyun sẽ hoàn tất khóa học HLV Pro tại Hàn Quốc, sau đó sẽ trở lại Việt Nam để tiếp tục công việc.
Do Asiad 19 đã bị hoãn do ảnh hưởng của dịch Covid-19, nên công việc của ông Gong chủ yếu là quan sát các giải chuyên nghiệp và các giải trẻ quốc gia để tuyển chọn lực lượng cho ĐT U23 Việt Nam, phục vụ cho SEA Games 32 và vòng loại U23 châu Á sẽ diễn ra vào năm sau”.
Tổng thư ký Lê Hoài Anh cũng chia sẻ thêm, sau khi HLV Gong Oh Kyun trở lại với công việc tại Việt Nam, VFF và HLV Gong Oh Kyun sẽ có buổi họp tổng kết, đánh giá kết quả tại giải U23 châu Á 2022, đồng thời thống nhất kế hoạch chuẩn bị cho các nhiệm vụ tiếp theo của U23 Việt Nam, giúp cho U23 Việt Nam và những lứa kế cận tiếp theo có những sự chuẩn bị tích cực cho các giải đấu trong tương lai.

Liên quan tới đội U23 Việt Nam, do gặp khó khăn trong việc mua vé máy bay nên VFF đã phải chia U23 Việt Nam thành hai nhóm để về nước. Nhóm các thành viên phía Nam bắt đầu di chuyển vào chiều 13/6 (giờ Việt Nam). Trong khi đó, ngày 14/6, nhóm còn lại lên đường về Hà Nội.
